Fresh from the Frankfurt motor show in September, Peugeot’s revolutionary BB1 – a fusion of attributes from both the car and a scooter – went on show at London’s Covent Garden on the 7th and 8th of November
Aimed to give the public a glimpse of the future, the BB1 is powered by two electric motors mounted in the rear wheels and it’s able to travel up to 75 miles between charging of the lithiumion battery packs. There’s space to accommodate up to four adults, thanks to its unique layout, which owes its design more to the scooter than car. Solar panels mounted on the vehicle help power the onboard systems, including hands-free phone, music player and satellite navigation system.
