MG Motor has successfully defended its ownership of the famous MG and MG X Power trademarks in the high court.
Mr William Riley had previously claimed the rights use these trademarks in association with a sports car business, however the court ruled that he had no right to do so.

Toyota have moved to dismiss any claims that an electrical, rather than mechanical fault is to blame for the worldwide recall of over eight million cars.
A study delivered to the US congress in February suggested that faulty electronics were to blame. However the Japanese giant stated the problem has been caused by the pedal itself, combined with obstructing floor mats, and that the repaired cars will now operate safely.
